Duties and responsibilities

Conducted Quality toolbox talk to the welders and fitters, welding foreman etc.

Review/maintain the calibration records of Inspection/Test Equipment's as per BS 7570 std with third part approval.

Conducted welder qualification test referred to ASME - Sec-IX and AWS D1.1

Preparing Jcc for qualified welders and certification review

Performed material receiving inspection and documentation with client approval

Preparing WPS from existing PQR with reference of ASME – Sec IX and AWS D1.1

Attended all safety induction and work permit training before entering to the site.

Preform Pre-welding inspection, In-process and post welding as per SAIC 2005,2006,2007

Preparing daily SAIC & SATR report for site activities.

Preparing daily welding log sheet and welder summery sheet and submitting to ARAMCO for review

Closing out all NCR, Proactive and surveillance raised from client side within the mentioned date.

Attaining the weld repair and witness the NDT performed and evaluating the results as per standard requirement.

Monitoring the welder’s individual performance based on SAEP 324. And D – category welder will be closing the monitored and try to reduce the repair rate.

Witnessing all modification in the sites and coordinating all modification activities with clients & contractors and preparing all the documents.

Worked in both above ground and underground piping.

Raised INCR and surveillance when the there is deviation in quality requirements and documentations.

Knowledge of codes, standards, QCP and ITP for the projects.

Awareness of inspection stages as on ITP for controlling the fabrication and quality activities as per standard codes.

Conducting the quality tool box talk on weekly basis and documenting the records.

Inspecting the storage and handling of welding consumables and ensuring the baking and holding temperature is maintained as per procedure .

And coordinating all calibration activities .

Maintain all calibration records for welding Equipment.

Inspection is performed stage wise as before, during and after welding .

Maintain required standards as per the contract requirements.
