The Cabinet Secretariat is responsible for the administration of the Government of India (Transaction of Business) Rules, 1961 and the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules 1961, facilitating a smooth transaction of business in Ministries/ Departments of the Government by ensuring adherence to these rules.

Achievements/Tasks

Profile: Maintain Network of 75 to 115 Computers, Configure Routers and Putting Switch. Function Area: LAN, WAN and V-SAT Network.

Routers: 7200 VXR.

In star topology router configured as core router using static routing with 50 remote sites. Links secured by implementing ip security policy.

Router 2821 and 2811 Series.

Routers used in remote site are configured with static routing, implementing ip sec policy and creating trunk port and sub interface for local network.

V-SAT NETWORK: Network in star topology consists of 110 remote sites. System working in Single channel per carrier(SCPC) and Demand assign multiple access (DAMA) principle.

Router 2821 configured for rotary dial routing.
