Reviews budget submissions from logistics element managers. Establishes and maintains management control over ILS funds distribution and expenditures for assigned projects. Assesses program documentation and equipment designs for logistics considerations. Formulates alternative support concepts to achieve ILS program objectives. Manages and coordinates inputs from Logistics Element Managers in development of ILS packages. Conducts Life Cycle Cost analyses, evaluates the results of Life Cycle Cost Analyses and, if necessary, formulates alternative support plans to achieve highest degree of cost effectiveness. Functions as a Logistics Element Manager and subject matter expert for supply support, maintenance planning and support and test equipment.
