Quality Control (QC)

Some Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all finishing activities such as but not limited to block work & plastering, false ceiling, gypsum walls and painting, tiling and marble works, flooring and landscaping.

• Review requirements of the specification and relevant standards and ensure understandings and compliance of work done with the specified requirements of the specification and drawings.

• Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors

• Carry out the specified inspection/test in accordance with relevant inspection/test plans, including the works of the subcontractors.

• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors, following logistic department to be sure that all needs like materials are available at site to prevent any delay in the work.

• Observance of safety requirements

Some Responsibilities:

• Quality control in accordance with project specifications, procedures, method of statement, quality plan, inspection and test plan.

• Inspect the work on site during, after installation, and after completion issue the required IRs to the consultant and/or main contractor.

• Ensure the implementation of the work as per approved specs, ITPs, and method statements and issue NCR in case of any non-conformity cases.

• Attend quality meetings on site for reviewing quality issues with consultant, following up the approved requests as per schedule, the closure of Non-Compliance Reports.

• Prepare and report all quality related logs (NCRs, MIRs, IRs …etc.) to the senior engineer

• Inspect the incoming materials to site to ensure quality and conformity with approved material submittals, shop drawings, and issued job orders and issue the required MIRs to the consultant and/or main contractor.
