New Projects

- Part of Analyzing the drawing and carrying out the feasibility study, risk assessment & contingency plan for the new product development.

- Prepare and track the APQP time plan to include initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and closing the project.

- Identify machine, method, tools, fixtures and gauges needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to customer requirements.

- Managing process design & product development to meet the customer requirements within targeted timeline, quality and budget.

- Create and revise standard work documents for manufacturing process.

- Manage activities involving procurement of new equipment, specifying evaluating recommending new technologies, strategies and methods.

- Identify,evaluate and develop suppliers.

- Ensure engineering change management.

- Documents handling - APQP, PPAP, PFD, PFMEA, CONTROL PLAN, SOP.

- Working on machining process like programming and tool management.

- Hand over the product to the Shop with Quality Planning Sign Off (QPSO)

Sourcing and Vendor Development

- Working on CFT to assess the feasibility study of New Product for sourcing - DFM. Can point out the design constraints in a new product by techno-commercially justifying the same.

- Reduced Sub-contract Scrap from 9.5 MT to 4.5 MT by using DMAIC approach and standardizing the same with cost savings of 8 lakhs INR p.a.

- CNC Process Optimization for runner parts with cost savings.

- Experience in APQP and PPAP completion for Tier II Vendors and Suppliers

- Regular Follow up of runner as well NPD products from Tier II Supplier

Customer Handling

- Experience in handling both General Motors and ZF for New projects

- Handled the project of increasing the productivity from 1000nos /day to 2500nos/day for Ford Panther Shaft

- Worked for all the GM- BIQS Audit (Bypass Management and reverse FMEA)

Worked Projects

- Vendor development for GM 6 Speed RWD and ZF Planet gears and Hub Project – Process Improvement, Re- PPAP and rate finalization for said operations

- Machine/Equipment Selection – GPM/SPM - RFQ, Techno-Commercial Negotiation, PO Release, DAP, Machine Try out at supplier site, Commissioning and Prove out at our plant

- Power Take Off shaft from General Motors developed from Proto samples and completed PPAP and handed over to Manufacturing

- X72F project from General Motors project completed till Proto sample submission.

- Panther shaft from Ford Motor Company worked from Samples submission to Production line and handled production ramp-up project.
