Brought on line a brand-new $28M facility in Abilene. This facility was state-of-the-art and fully automated utilizing a PC/PLC based Repete-Sabre system. Issued all Confined Space Entry, Hot Work, LOTO, etc permits.
Introduced Vendor Stocking, which proved so beneficial, Cargill Animal Nutrition(Worldwide), established this service at all facilities.
As Maintenance Manager I utilized all skills to include: budgeting, capital projects, vendor relationships, procurement, planning, training and establishment of safety committee. Facility reached 975,000 hrs w/o LTA.
