I bring 35+ years of negotiation experience with a demonstrated record of driving out Cost and Affordability on large-scale aviation platforms and programs and have produced multi-million-dollar savings on behalf of The Boeing Company and several of our nation’s national security-based programs. Held Secret SAR Clearance.

Accomplishments

•Lead Negotiator for the sale and transition and negotiation of US State Dept. C-40-owned components, returning $3.7M in savings.

•Managed continuous improvement-based Accelerated Improvement Workshop for Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System – produced $11.4M savings by eliminating wire harness variation performed on modified King Air 300 aircraft

•Optimized Airborne Early Warning (AWACS) & Control (AWACS) flight test program to use airworthy spares in lieu of new spares. This resulted in a $1.5M savings for the program. In addition, I successfully managed all unused spares through an Asset Resale Business Systems model that I developed.

•P8 Poseidon proposal development team, Digital engineering, structural integrity cert 737-800 platform

•Drove out excess inventory cost savings of $60M

•Presented Lean+ Plus Defense Modeling at the Office of Secretary of Defense, Provided Lean training to National Center of Counterterriosm, CIA Program Managers

2019-Current Independent Aerospace Project Management (Confidential Company)

Responsible for statement of work reviews, critical milestone tracking and risk mitigation planning

2013-2016 Assignment – Boeing Defense and Space-Supply Chain Specialist (GCB4P5/GCB)

Responsible for all operational components of an Asset Resale business systems, aligning BDS operational strategies and cost initiatives by eliminating $40M in excess aircraft component inventories, storage management and operational insurance coverage. This process was initially implemented on the Wedgetail-AEW program and have successfully returned $65M back to Boeing in sales over the last 10 years. Current efforts include start up initiative with Commercial Aviation Services to meet their end of year cost savings.

Appointment as Aerospace Engineering Organization (AEO) Leader to maintain the Royal Australian Air Force Engineering certification on the Wedgetail Program at The Boeing Company.

2013-2014 Boeing Network and Space Systems (NS&S) Supply Chain Analyst (GCB4P5)

At the request of Intel Program Manager, responsible to oversee the integration of LEAN and Affordability functions for National Intelligence customer to lower costs related to software development and schedules. Reduced by excess of 1500 hours. These savings resulted in a Boeing win of the Railhead contract. Additional proposal work for field tower construction labor costs, reduction of 600 hours and approximate savings including site transportation cost. Occurred on another Homeland Security Proposal.

2011-2013 Boeing Defense Systems System Chain Support Analyst (GLG2P5)

Provided Leadership to NATO AWACS Block 30-35-customer acceptance of electronic upgrades suites with Supplier and Miter Corporation. Provided program Leadership to AEO representing RAFF and Boeing Design. This assignment included international travel to Israel, Italy and Australia to lead technical review and field leader of engineering FCA/PCA technical certification, cost negotiations.

2005-2011 Boeing Defense Systems System Chain Support Analyst (GLG2P5)

The position required engagement with Technical Subcontract Management collaborating with various supplier. AWACS Fiber Optic Refresh aligned design SME’s with the supplier.

Final design was negotiated with Air Force Leaders as the task required critical business analysis and SME Engagement to finalize proposal integration and cost parameters

1986-1987 Boeing Corporate Auditor-Seattle

Nominated into Audit program-responsible for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) audits-conformance and management Systems for Boeing subsidiaries. This assignment required strong communication skills along with developing management control systems and implementation plans to improve the overall business efficiency of BCA Business units.

1982-1986 Boeing Military Airplanes Quality Manager, Quality Systems

Manager, Quality Control, Manager Systems Assurance- B-2 Program-Seattle and Palmdale

Responsible for the Cost of Quality metrics for Program. Also managed a staff of approximately 10 employees.
