Dear Hiring Committee:
With the enclosed curriculum vitae describing my credentials and experience, I would like to introduce myself and express my interest in exploring employment opportunities with you as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
As you will see from my CV, I have finished my Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nursing Practitioner program at Concordia University Wisconsin. I previously earned a B.S.N at University Wisconsin Milwaukee. I am dually certified with AANP and ANCC. I am continuing my education for Doctorate of Nursing at Concordia University Wisconsin.
My current experience is working as a family nurse practitioner at Froedtert in Sheboygan Fast Care Clinic. Before working as a family nurse practitioner at Froedtert, I worked at Ascension family practice in Kaukauna Wisconsin.
I have built strong patient relationships. I have taken pride in providing high quality care, particularly preventive and wellness-focused care including chronic disease management. I have collaborated and coordinated with physicians and other health professionals regarding clinical practice, education, and consultation. I have taken care of people with passion, pride and respect. I am efficient on coordinating and documenting patient care through the electronic medical record systems.
I am genuinely excited about the medical care I will be able to provide as a Family Nurse Practitioner at your clinic. You would find me to be an exceptionally strong communicator who is well equipped for the challenges of teaching and educating patients about their illnesses and treatments. As you can see from the fact that I have embarked on the adventure of obtaining my doctorate’s degree, I am an extremely hard worker who is committed to refining my skills and abilities to the highest level. Quality care is always my focus, and I am seeking a position in a practice that will value an ambitious and dedicated professional who could enhance the image and patient care of the practice. I am highly motivated to become a productive provider.
I hope we will have the opportunity to meet in person, and I would ask that you contact me to suggest a time and place for us to meet to discuss considerable skills and talents. Thank you in advance for your time.
Sincerely,
Kerry Talbert, MSN, APNP, NP-C, FNP-BC
