Projects undertaken:

Completed a project using R and python, where linear regression was used to create models to predict the property selling prices based on different predictors related to the properties. Data cleaning was performed in the beginning followed by imputations in the dataset, filtering predictors based on parameters like Vif scores, P-Values to reach to the final model with the maximum multiple R squared value and least number of predictors.

Completed a project using R and python, where logistic regression was used for Bank Credit Card Default Prediction based on different predictors related to the customers. Predictors were filtered based on parameters like Vif scores, P-Values to reach to the final model with the maximum overall accuracy rate and Area under Curve with least number of predictors. The final model was trained using training data and later tested on the testing data set.

Completed a project using R and python, where decision tree concept was used for Bank Credit Card Default Prediction based on different predictors related to the customers. The dataset used was different from the one in Logistic Regression. Predictors were filtered to reach to the final model with the maximum overall accuracy rate and Area under Curve with least number of predictors being used. Then boosting was performed with different number of trials to check for further improvements in the final results.

Completed a project using R, where Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) was used for Bank Credit Card Default Prediction based on different predictors related to the customers. This was done to compare the results with the respective Logistic Regression and Decision Tree models built earlier. Then LDA was used to predict the species of different flowers in inbuilt R dataset “iris”. Final model had maximum overall accuracy rate with minimum errors. The classifications were clearly visualized using scatter plots.

Completed a Case Study project using SAS Retail Store Analytics, to understand the basic concepts of SAS. Data was imported, cleaned and transformed to use it for various reporting’s such as generating maximum sale day report, report of most loyal customers etc. Tables were queried using SQL to get required results. Various conditional statements and SAS functions were used throughout the project.

Completed a capstone project using SAS, to understand and evaluate banks credit card system. Missing data and faulty columns were adequately treated before the data could be properly analyzed. Data exploration was carried out and Bank’s Profit from Credit Card was calculated using relevant calculations using SAS codes. Finally reports were generated as asked in the project, such as age group spending highest amount, most profitable segments, etc.

During my tenure in Essl India Pvt Ltd, I had been a part of the IoT team in designing and demonstrating a Video Door Phone (VDP) device, through which a visitor can be properly verified and then allowed entry through the main gate. The verification could be done by audio visual interfaces within the device through which a person inside the home could see and first talk to the visitor outside the gate using a microphone. Then he may allow him entry by pressing a switch that automatically opens and closes the gate lock. The device was built to be sold to Indian and overseas markets.

I have built a basic water level detector circuit at home that automatically lights up a led bulb that acts as an alarm, as soon as the water reaches a particular level in the tank. Water being a good conductor of electricity helps in closing the circuit as soon as it touches the legs of the Led bulbs. The project needed few 5 mm Led bulbs, an old cell phone adapter (power supply), wires, a 70 ohm resistor, soldering iron, soldering flux and a digital multimeter. Professional Experience:
