As a Research Officer I worked on a project conducted by CWDS and FORCES, and sanctioned by the Ministry for Women and Child Development, Govt. of India– ‘Need Assessment for Creches and Childcare services’

The main responsibilities included –

- Assisting in coordinating the study in six states - Assam, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh

- Monitoring and supervising a team of 32 field facilitators

- Designing research tools

- Conducting a pilot study

- Field visits to the study sites

- Conducting meetings and seminars with stakeholders

- Verification and analysis of the data collected

- Documentation and report writing

- Dissemination of study findings

As a Project Coordinator I was in-charge of implementing and developing the work of the organization on women in the unorganized sector, in the state of Rajasthan (Jodhpur, Jaipur and Bikaner), and in Bareilly.

The main responsibilities included–

- Advocacy initiatives for promoting the rights of women in the unorganized sector
