I am a recent graduate holding a BEng Electrical Engineering (Honors) from the University of Wollongong in Dubai. My engineering experience from work and studies has conditioned me to be able to resolve complex engineering problems, have strong attention to detail and be able to adapt quickly to new topics presented to me. My previous work/volunteering experiences have allowed me to build excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and project coordination skills. My passion for engineering and progress drives me to improve myself and my abilities. From my studies and R&D internship at The Assembly I have practiced with various engineering applications, tools and concepts. (i.e. Python, circuit design and soldering, power/control systems, neural networks, MATLAB, AutoCAD, C++, etc.). The experience I acquired from this internship and from the TEDx speaker training has greatly improved my presenting and speaking skills. Innovated a novel G2V system which used an artificial neural-network to control the charging schedules of electric vehicles (EVs). It utilized existing EV data sets and simulations to recognize system performance under new loads. It was able to schedule the most efficient charging pattern for each household’s EV. The network architecture was based on a deep recurrent neural network built on MATLAB.
