SSIE Project Experience
Masters Termination Project - Binghamton, NY December 2018 – May 2019
For my Master Termination project I used the RoboDK simulation software to program cobot to perform operations. The movement is converted to code that is uploaded to the cobot instead of programming using a teach pendent.
Coding of a pick and place program that simulates a robotic/cobotic pharmacy in the movement of filled prescriptions from the filling station to the pharmacist to give to the patients. IISE Rockwell Student Simulation Competition - Binghamton, NY (Arena Model Developer) January 2018 – May 2018
The IISE/Arena Student Simulation is a global competition of teams of 3 IE Undergraduate students who solve a real- world situational case study using the Rockwell Automation simulation package, Arena.
Our simulation involved creating models of a co-working facility with various layouts and seating options using the Arena simulation software. We were able to (identify, create, determine, conclude…)
Our team was a top 3 finalist and presented our simulation at the IISE Conference in Orlando, Florida in May 2018 and placed 2nd overall in the global competition.
Capstone Senior Design Project (BAE Systems) (Team Lead and Support Analyst) Fall 2017 – May 2018
A collaborative project with BAE Systems to evaluate and improve their system that creates ESS Top Carriers for buses.
We performed analysis of the process flow, build rate, layout, manpower, flow and other areas to help improve the build process for the increasing volume which needed to be produced by BAE Systems.
I was involved in the creation of time studies, simulation models; conduction of data analysis and quality control methods for the effort.
Python Project - Binghamton, NY (Project Facilitator/Coder) Fall 2016
Python code using scraped data from a database website to determine optimal solution based on weighted factors. Professional Development
