JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform X-ray imaging, portable radiography, C-Arm and fluoroscopic procedures.

Performs Ct procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.

Review and evaluate developed x-rays or computer generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.

Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff.

Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the procedure. Prepares patient for radiologic procedure.

Position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance, according to specification of examination.

Serve a diverse caseload including newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
