Summary

I have 11 years of working in Human Resources for a small business that has grown from 20 to 60 employees with high volatility. My work has been with employee benefits, recruiting, conflict resolution, harassment, and compliance. 2018 – Current Human Resource Manager, ABCO Products, Inc This position is responsible for the management of employee benefits, payroll, and talent acquisition. It is also member of the management team and provides input on the strategic direction of the company, reviews corporate policies, and speaks on behalf of the employee interests. During times of growth, this position manages and runs the employee acquisition process. During times of downsizing, this position advises management on the legal means to perform layoffs and terminations. This position keeps the company up to date with compliance with respect to the DOL, ERISA, and medical benefits.

2009 – 2018 Manager of Administration, ABCO Products, Inc. The Manager of Administration is responsible for Human Resources, Safety (HSE), IT, and Accounting. The position manages 5 persons including IT and Accounting. It sits on the board of managers and has influence on executive decision making. The day to day responsibilities include Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, Onboarding, Terminations, Employee Retention, Safety Records and Audits, and Employee Satisfaction.
