Project Details

PREPARATION OF CuO-H2O NANOFLUID AND THEORETICAL INVESTIGATION OF ITS THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY, DENSITY, VISCOSITY, & SPECIFIC HEAT This project mainly deals with the Preparation of CuO-H2O nanofluid in a Two step method by directly

mixing the base liquid and thoroughly stirred in the magnetic stirrer followed by ultrasonic vibration for

about 5 hours Thermal Conductivity of CuO-H2O nanofluids have been evaluated. The effect of sonification, particle size and volume fraction have been studied on the thermal conductivity 1of manufactured nanofluids. The results show that there is an exact enhancement of Thermo physical properties (Thermal Conductivity, Specific Heat, Viscosity, and Density) as theoretical results shows.

Systems can be made to perform effectively with conventional fluids like water or with special fluids with

improved performance called nanofluids.
