Academic Projects
Modelling and Simulation of Underwater Acoustic Communication October 2016 – January 2017
The aim of the project is to model the underwater wireless communication channel and evaluate the performance of bit error rate (BER) over different signal to noise ratio. Two underwater wireless communication channels will be a model, acoustic channel and Optical channel.
●Matlab / Simulink design for underwater communication system using an acoustic wireless channel.
●Matlab / Simulink design for underwater communication system using an optical wireless channel.
Device Modelling & Embedded processor design June 2016
The project demonstrates the implementation of Microblaze processor on an FPGA board where the user will be able to input a number (maximum 8 digit) to the Microblaze processor (implemented on the FPGA) using UART console on the host computer. The user will be able to do Increment, Decrement, Left and Right the number.
●Diligent Nexys 4 (DDR) board/Vivado 2015.2 IP integrator/firmware Vivado 2015.2 SDK
Design of Robot Using Whisker Sensor August 2016
Project to design and simulate an IR sensor module to detect an obstacle in specific range using Multisim.Design and simulate a self-navigating differential drive robot in a given environment using V-REP simulation software.
●Whisker Sensor/Proteus Design Suite/V-Rep Pro/Multisim
Infrared Vibrator Shoes for Visually Impaired February – April 2016
The new system will have a number of IR Sensors Transmitters and Receivers placed on the shoes to detect the obstacles on all the directions including intermediate directions where the vibrator is fitted in the socks.
●IR Sensor Transmitter/Receiver/PIC18F4520/Embedded C programming/UML Studio.
Projects Undertaken
●The design and development of a customized embedded Linux operating system for the Raspberry pi 2.0 platforms.
MATlab based project to design and develop a complete DSP system for audio signal processing with noise cancellation algorithms.
●A microprocessor application project to construct a Bluetooth controlled function generator using interrupts timers and DAC components.
●Project to design, implement and demonstrate a wireless sensor network using telosbs to detect the light intensity and to broadcast it over the network (with additional logic to limit flooding) so that the user gets the data.

Experience
University of Wolverhampton (Oct 2018 - Jan 2019) in Contract as Visiting Lecture
Role:
Lecture done in the Introduction of fundamental principles of problem solving in Python programming on practical problems from within the disciplines of Science and Engineering, and the design of potential solutions using flow charts and simple algorithms.
The implementation of solutions is performed using suitable IT applications and an introduction to basic data processing using a simple Python programming language. Indicatively, the ‘practical programs’ are expected to follow a set number of themes reflecting the multi-disciplinary nature of the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
University of Wolverhampton (Dec 2018 – Jan 2019) in Contract as Peer Support Buddy
Role:
