Project Engineer:

Management of Staff, skilled and unskilled workers at Construction Sites and Responsible for the efficient use of labour, machines and materials. Plan and schedule work and keep records of the materials used and the progress made on projects. Ensure safety rules are followed . Communicate Company rules and policies to the workers. Handle grievances or complaints from co-workers and subordinates to keep healthy work environment. Monitor and check Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports. Supervising the work assigned to subordinates, staff, construction crew and monitoring and guiding them in the process.

Guide Craft workers the way to handle certain tasks, training of newly hired Staff/workers. Attending the progress meetings with the Project managers/ Clients/ Subcontractors. Command and control at site and make necessary efforts for high standard workmanship and improve work methodologies efficiently.

Responsible for ensuring that all working personnel are properly assigned and scheduled work according to their individual capabilities to obtain the optimum results in line with the master schedule.

QA/QC Engineer:

Conversant with ASTM, ACI, BS and Saudi Aramco Standards (SAICs and SATIPs are extensively used in JSDP project in Jeddah, KSA) related to all construction works, specifications, control and calibration of equipments used in site works.

Implementing the quality control plan (QCP) to carry out routine and systematic inspection and testing in construction, fabrication and installation on the progress of the project to ensure that items are inspected, tested, shown and documented to comply with specifications.

Review of contract documents & drawings to understand the scope of the project.

Ensure the proper documentation as per QMS and MSP from all the department and usage of applicable formats.

Ensure controlled copies of quality plan, procedures, plan, work instructions, method statements, codes & standards are available at pertinent location of use.

Ensure controlled documents and latest drawings used in the project.

Monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI), key result area (KRA) of the concerned project.

Monitoring availability/accessibility of documents in project and participating in the internal and external quality audit.

Following for the approval of quality documents (IRs, RFIs, MACs etc.) with the clients.

Support construction team in preparation of method statements and implementation of the method statement in construction activities.

Co-coordinating with internal engineering department for detail drawings and AFC drawings.

Enforcing the QC system on main & sub contractors, leading the QC inspectors’ team on site and coordinating QC matters with the Client's team.

Perform planned inspections for all construction activities and tests as per the relevant inspection and test plans and proper implementation of the same and liaise with site engineers and supervision staff of the engineer regarding inspection requests, arrangements and inspection/test results.

Controlling the quality of work in compliance with relevant project specifications and followed standards.

Initial inspection prior to raising inspection request for the consultant’s/client’s inspection, joint inspection and getting it approval.

Inspection in construction activities from initial survey, excavation, blinding concrete, sub structure, coating (waterproofing), soil backfilling and compaction, super structure, structural steel fabrication and erection, block works and its finishing works, roof water proofing works, utility works etc. ensured field activities are being carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, standards & quality plan.

Review calibration certificates equipments prior to its use and ensure suitability of equipment for inspections and testing.

Inspection all activities for roadwork from initial survey to laying of wearing course including compaction and testing of asphalt.
