1.Optimization of Centralized and decentralized cognitive networks:

This work focuses on optimization algorithms for decision making to optimize radio resource usage in heterogeneous cognitive wireless networks. For networks with centralized management, a novel optimization algorithm was proposed whose solution is guaranteed to be exactly optimal.

For the networks with decentralized management, we propose a distributed algorithm using the distributed energy minimization dynamics of the Hopfield–Tank neural network which minimizes a given objective function without any centralized calculation.

2.Peak to average power ratio of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing:

High Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is one of the major drawbacks in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). The High PAPR increases the complexity of Analogue to Digital (A/D) and Digital to Analogue (D/A) converters and also reduces the efficiency of RF High Power Amplifier (HPA). In this paper we present an analysis of Discrete Hartley Transform (DHT) pre-coded OFDM system using M-QAM (where M=16, 32, 64, 256).

Areas of interest:

Communication Systems is my major area of interest. Studied 600 IEEE research papers on Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing and helped one of my faculties in his Ph. D thesis in minimizing plagiarism.
