Work Summary:

Study/Review of tender documents, scope of work,drawings,BOQ,specification,clients requirements etc from the tender documents for proper estimation works

Preparing technical queries for ambiguities in drawings,specification & BOQ

Co-ordination with quantity surveyors and material take-off when required

Preparing actual bill of quantities from projects drawings and specifications. (Electrical & ELV)

Floating enquiries (RFQ’s) as per project approved vendor’s list and Collecting Prices from various suppliers (Local & International) based on priority

Technical and commercial evaluation (comparison) of received quotations as per tender documents.

Review of addendums (tender circulars) on scope of work, project specifications, procedures, revisions, Engineering standards and other references applicable to the project.

Amending all the latest changes in actual BOQ and estimating labor and material prices for the project in Candy or Excel and submitting to the management for approval.

Preparing Technical submission documents like method of statements, list of long lead items etc.

Preparation of answers/replies for post tender clarifications and its related supporting documents.

Preparation of value engineering / alternatives proposals to be submitted to clients upon request.

Preparation of Variations claims with all supporting documents for ongoing projects

Solicit and maintain communication with contractors and vendors
