Completed and commissioned 80,000 m3/day Sewage Treatment Plant at A’Seeb, Muscat based on Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) followed by Ultra-filtration (UF) Technology for Muscat Waste Water Treatment Scheme which is biggest so far in Oman. Completed and commissioned Wastewater Treatment scheme for Eastern part of the Muscat city (Al Amerat) of Sultanate of Oman which includes very large 3 nos Sewer Network Projects including House connections and 1 no Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity 18,000 m3/day with Pumping stations and Treated Effluent utilization system. Involved in Design of Infrastructure Projects like Water supply, Drainage, Sewerage, Solid Waste Management etc. for large Cities and Industrial Townships. D. ACHIEVEMENTS DURING PROFESIONAL CAREER

Project Management: Successfully executed, Commissioned and handed over 3 nos plant 56,000 m3/day, 80,000 m3/day and 18,000 m3/day Sewage Treatment plants based on Membrane Bio-Reactor technology and SBR Technology at Muscat, Sultanate of Oman under Muscat Wastewater Treatment Scheme. Worked as Project Manager for the projects. The projects consists of Civil and Electro-mechanical and Instruments and Control system. Operation and maintenance of the plants. Successfully completed 3 nos Sewer network projects in Al Amerat, Muscat, Oman for Haya Water having total sewer length of 550 Km and 10,000 nos House Connections and 550 Km Fibre Optic Duct work.

Designed and executed 200 m3/day Effluent Recycle plant based on Ultrafiltration followed by Reverse Osmosis Plant for Hindustan Lever Ltd (Part of Unilever PLc, UK)

Drinking Water Project: Successfully secured order and executed Drinking Water Treatment Plant for Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority with Inclined Plate Settler which was one of the first few plants in India for this application. I have done business development, proposal preparation, frontline sales activity, basic engineering, project management, procurement and commissioning of the plant. The plant has become trend setter in the country. White Water recycle Plant: Successfully secured and commissioned White Water Recycle Plant for ITC Tribeni Tissue which is opposite to the conventional process. I have used High Rate Solids Contact Clarifier followed by Dynasand Filter against conventional concept of Floatation process. My involvement was to do the business development, frontline sales activity, Project Management and commissioning of the plant.

Water Injection Project: Implementation of Inclined Plate settler for Water Injection Project for ONGC, Sibsagar. My job was to sell the concept during pre- tendering stage, process design and detailed engineering, proposal preparation, frontline sales activity and Project co-ordination during execution of the project. Industrial Water Treatment plant in Bhutan: Successfully secured order for Ion Exchange in Bhutan for Inclined Plate Settler for Bhutan Ferro Alloys Ltd. My job was to sell the concept during enquiry stage, process design, proposal preparation, frontline sales activity and Project management of the project. BOOT Project: Worked for Proposal preparation for BOOT (Build, Own, Operate and Transfer) tender for Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, Chennai for Sea Water Desalination Plant consisting of Sea water Intake, Desalination plant (RO), Power plant and Pipeline. A. Haya Water – Oman Wastewater Services Company, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman as Project Manager – (October 2011 to 31st December 2019)

Worked as Project Manager and successfully completed and commissioned the following Projects:

a. 80,000 m3/day Sewage Treatment Plant at A’Seeb, Muscat which consists of 3 nos Main Sewage Pumping Stations, 24 Km Gravity Sewer Trunk main, the fully covered Plant consists of Pretreatment, Sequential Batch reactor followed by Fine Screening and Membrane Bio-reactor, Electro-Chlorinator, TE reservoir with TE Pumping Station and pipelines, Dewatering System and Odor Control System with Electronic Nose system. The project also includes Sea Outfall of total 9.4Km wherein total off-shore length of 1.8 Km was laid at maximum water depth of 11m. Also 2 Nos off site TE storage Reservoirs with Pumping Stations were constructed and commissioned for total value of Rial Omani 88 Million (US $ 228 Million). The Project also consists of 8Km Laying of HV cable, 33/11 KV Transformers, 11KV/0.415 KV

Studying the problem related to Optical Brightening Agent present in white water of the paper mill. Feasibility study of various treatment schemes to decide the technically best process. Studying the problem related to Contamination of plant wastewater by addition of Fluoride which is being discharged into the natural drain. Given lot of site inputs to developed resin based fluoride removal process which is being implemented for the first time in India. Site selection for the plant and suggested pre-fabricated Inclined Plate settler which can be erected at a very short span of time.
