● The ecommerce application Consists of 10 Banners. Each banners serving purpose of a category such as gender, age, sports, location and language. The websites are for the purpose of selling shoes, dresses and similar accessories. The Testing team based in offshore were responsible for handing the regression automation suit, new features and functionality delivery and integration testing.

● Initiated the conversion of suit datasource from Excel to CSV. Replaced the automation framework test data from Excel to CSV. used the multidimensional hashmap to store the data in runtime.This also reduced the size of the data source.

● Implemented parallel execution in the existing BDD Framework. The execution is to reduce execution of each banner at different times to all 10 banners at the same time with a consolidated report. This reduced the time frame from 30 hours to 3hours. Used Maven Fail safe plugin, Thread by runner classes method for implementing parallel execution. Used a third party plugin called cucumber-jvm-parallel plugin for dynamic creation of runner classes at runtime.

● Introduced Javascript wrappers and additional test listeners. Javascript wrapper ensured additional wait required and Test listeners helped in better reporting

● Replaced browser stack with saucelab, for a better parallel execution tracking and better speed.
