Nature of Job Responsibilities:

• MAINTANENCE BACKGROUND: Carried out day by day preventive, corrective and break down maintenance activities on Electrical Systems, Plant And Equipment’s Assigned Field Covering Generators And Controls, LV/HV Motors and Control Circuits, Transformers, MVSG HVSG Cables, 33KV Overhead Lines, Electrical Submersible Pumps, VSD Motors, UPS System, Batteries and Battery Chargers, Lightings.

• To Perform Troubleshooting, Identifying, Isolating, Repairing and Testing of Faulty Electrical Components and Circuits. To Respond To Emergency Call Outs, Troubleshooting the Problem and Take action to ensure the correct operation of the Electrical Equipment.

• Reporting of Hazardous and Near Miss to HSE Department and Regularly Participate in HSE meetings.

• ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ISOLATION: Carried out Electrical System 33KV and 11KV out door and in door substation isolation and De-Isolation for Log out, Tag out and Multi lock System for Operation, Instrument, Mechanical, and Electrical as per HSE Policies and Maintain log book.

• TRANSFORMER: Preventive, corrective and breakdown Maintenance activities and troubleshooting of 33KV, 11KV, 415KV indoor and outdoor type up to 20MVA Power transformer and Distribution Transformers.

• GENERATOR: Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of Generators, Control Panel Parameters, Automatic Changeover Switch, Mechanical Changeover Switch Interlocking system, AVR and alternators up to 250KVA Kirlosker make.

• H.T AND L.T MOTORS: Preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities, Installations, Commissioning, Testing, Overhauling, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of HV,MV,LV Motors, Breakers, DOL and Star Delta Starters 11KV,6.6KV and 415V.

• HV MV and LV POWER AND CONTROL CABLES GLANDING: Cable Laying, glanding, Testing

,loop Checking, Termination and using Cable Lugs of cables up to 200 sq mm, MICC PVC XLPE, PILC, Multi Core and Single Core Cables etc.

• CT AND PT: Installation, Testing and Maintenance of CT & VT. Measuring and Protection of Relays of the feeder Transformers, Generators and Motors etc.

• BATTERIES AND BATTERY CHARGERS: Installation, Commissioning, Testing, and Maintenance of Batteries, and Battery Chargers for Lead Acid Battery and Alkaline Battery for Soft, Knife, HBL, Alcad and Chloride for control power to HV & LV switch boards.

• UPS SYSTEM: Installation Commissioning Testing, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of UPS up to 30KVA 415V, 240V/ for DCS, instruments controls, SCADA and PLC.

• CPTR: Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Cathodic Protection Transformer Rectifier using Pipelines and vessels for avoid corrosion.

• EARTHING SYSTEMS: Installation Commissioning Testing and Maintenance of all Type of Grid Earthing Network for all Electrical Equipment, Vessels, Tanks & Neutral earthing. Testing and Measuring of resistance values.

• LIGHTINGS: Erection, Commissioning, Testing, Maintenance and Trouble Shooting of All Types of Lightings for Hazard’s Area Explosion Proof Light Fittings.

• PROTECTION RELAYS: Motors, Transformers, Generators and Feeder Relays over Current, Earth Fault, Restricted Earth Fault, and Thermal over Current Relay, Winding Temperature Relay Commissioning and Testing with primary and secondary current Injection Test Kit.

• ELECTRICAL TESTING EQUIPMENT: Using of Megger, AVO Meter, Cable Route Locator Fault Locator, Hi-Pot Test Kit, Earth Megger, Phase Sequence Meter, Taco Meter Phasing Stick Earth Stick all type of Electrical Equipment’s Testing in hazardous area using intrinsically safe meter used.

• ZONE CLASSIFICATION: - Zone 0, Zone 1 and Zone 2 Hazardous Classification Obtain Safe Work Permits like Cold and Hot.

• DRAWINGS: - ALL HIGH/LOW VOLTAGE Reading Power and Control Circuit for PCC, MCC panels Personal Profile:
