JOB TO BE CARRIED OUT:

Inspect filler materials and check its documents, to ensure that the proper electrodes are in accordance with the approved welding procedures.

Check the typical certified material test report, when purchased, the proper storage, and the system on controlling and distributing the electrode.

Monitoring Electrode consumable backing and holding oven & maintain register.

Inspection of incoming materials, material handling, heat number transfer, PMI (Positive material identification).

Inspecting the painting works done by the contractors on the fabricated pipe spools. Make sure the Pipe spools are properly covered with the end caps and safely transported to the site without any damages.

Inspection of Fit-up, Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings and bolt torquing and condition of gasket.

Inspected/witnessed internal cleanliness, Orientation and flush grinding of orifice flanges.

Inspection of Welding activities, Monitoring /Checked welding parameters like preheat, inter pass temperature, amperage, voltage, travel speed and type of welding electrode/fluxes are used in accordance with approved WPS.

Maintaining records Post weld heat treatment (PWHT).

Monitored welder's performance and reviewed qualification record.

Stage wise inspection various type of welding repair/modification job with the help of NDE (RT, UT, DPT, and MPT).

Check flow direction arrows on valves; verify that the properly identified valves are installed in accordance with the flow diagram.

Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe support details.

Loop clearance done with the help of ISO & LHS.

Overall loop status registers maintaining and follows up for NDT completion.
