Mini Project: Analysis of PISTON for IC ENGINE

TEAM SIZE: INDIVIDUAL.

DURATION: 4Weeks

DESCRIPTION: In this project the stress distribution is evaluated on the four stroke engine piston by using FEA. The finite element analysis is performed by using ANSYS 19.1 software. In this project both static and thermal analysis is performed. The thermal analysis is carried out to calculate stresses and deflection due to thermal loads and gas pressure. The material is Aluminum alloy; with using computer aided design (CAD), CATIAV5R20 software the structural model of a piston is developed.
