Responsibilities:

I was a Key member of the TAG. Technical Advisory Group. Which Evaluates/implements new technology, tools and workflows to improve remote adjuster efficiency and improve the customer experience.

I managed Field staff adjusters who were all remote employees, In, addition the past 2 years I managed the Independent desk examiners of Pilot and other independent adjustment companies which were all remote staff.

I coached and developed staff to maximize individual performance, build future organizational leadership, enhance collaboration and strengthen support of the company’s values and strategies.

I implemented and monitored the claim department procedures for handling claims in accordance with Good Faith Claim handling procedures and statutes across multiple products/lines of business.

I managed CAT Operations in Puerto Rico for 6 weeks in 2017 for Hurricane Maria and also 6 weeks Mobile Alabama managing the temporary examiners to handle our claims. I have been an active member of Assurant’s Cat team including since 2004, I worked Katrina, Wilma, Hurricane Sandy and the most recent Hurricanes in 2017 and 2018.

During my career with Horace Mann, I have been responsible for the entire field claims operation within 47 states. This would include Litigation, Reinsurance reporting, semi annual audits on each field office, supervising the Directors of Material Damage and Homeowner Physical Damage Administration as well as Supervising 4 Regional Corporate Officers and the 17 District and Branch Managers. The responsibilities included leadership, organization, control, and the servicing of auto and property claims within a planned staff and budget for the Claim Department or the appropriate region I was managing.

The staff adjusters and Managers were all remote employees, including independent adjusters.

We had a 60% IA inspection and 40 % staff field inspections, which were all remote employees.

I am a multi-line experienced adjuster. General Liability, Auto, Property, Litigation.

Accomplishments: Best Branch office 1987 and member of the Best Region 1985-1989. Promoted to Home Office in 1990.
