Achieved improved operational stability, reliability and efficiency via improved systems such Daily Management Systems and Problem Solving Process.

Implemented initiatives to reduce production cost by approximately $100/MT.

Manage the Maintenance of Plant Utilities, Cranes and Plant Facilities in the Central Maintenance Unit of the Rolled Products Manufacturing Plant - capacity of approximately 720M lbs per annum, 400 Acres

Manage $14M Maintenance and Other Plant Expense budget and workforce of 86 unionized employees and 11 direct report staff.

Implementing the Reliability Excellence program in Mechanical Utilities and Cranes Repairs including Planning and Scheduling, PM and PDM Reviews and Root Cause Analysis.

Managed $20M maintenance budget and workforce of 78 unionized employees and 6 direct report staff.

Implemented the Reliability Excellence program in the Clarification operations unit.

Successfully achieved new production record (2013), through improved equipment availability, process improvements, and waste elimination.

Trained over 80 new temporary workers and staff in 3 months to operate the Clarification refinery process during an industrial action.

Successfully operated with significant reduction in operating cost via implementation of standardize work routines and other tenets of lean manufacturing.

Implemented Daily Management Systems to drive improvement in the plant operational stability and efficiency.

Developed and implemented equipment overhaul schedule to improve availability and operating efficiencies.

Managed budget and reduced costs to offset rising raw material prices.

Rationalised the workforce to improve employee productivity and reduce operating costs.
