I quickly took on the responsibilities of purchasing and inventory management and was promoted to Shipping Administrator. I would ensure all customer orders were sent out timely and correctly, as well as the packages to our Business Development Team worldwide for large events, conferences, meetings, etc. I also managed and did the reporting for vendor purchase accounts including Amazon, Office Depot, PsPrint, etc. This was a position that allowed me to take on a variety of different tasks each day which varied from personal tasks for the CEO to ordering and receiving our entire inventory for the year.

This included instructing and supervising a work crew, correctly identifying and logging weights of freight, ensuring airplane was correctly and safely loaded, and ensuring the job would be completed in the appropriate amount of time given. After mastering this task, I sought to further my career at FedEx and accepted a position of Swing Driver, in Santa Fe, NM. This was explained to be a very challenging task, as Swing Driver was considered one of the toughest jobs within the company.
