Responsibilities:

Create Test Plan, Test Script/Test case and End of Test Report Document for each of the projects tested.

Worked closely with the Development team to report defects timely and used the Silk Central Defect Management tool to log in the defects.

Worked closely with the IP project team where extensive SQL Testing was involved between 9i and 11g Databases. This involved identifying Test Data so that the SQL statements produced results in both the databases for comparison.

Extensively Tested this Key Print Plus + Mainframe Reports, Vsam Diff reports and worked closely with the developer to report the defects in a timely manner. Also tested the Secure FTP which was a part of this report testing.

SOAPUI Testing - SI Project involved SOAPUI Testing. Created Baseline files with the response received when the request was submitted so that the baseline files can be used in future testing efforts.

Regression Tested through various builds interfaces like SKMOnline, SKRAM, XFiles, Web applications like CSM and batch program testing for SM by executing the Regression Test Scripts.

Description: TCS-Test Creation System (TCS), a complex workflow and tracking application that produces individual test items to be used on national qualifying exams. The application includes a data-driven authoring/review workflow module, an inventory management module, a problem report/resolution module, a workflow efficiency measurement module and a data conversion/migration/synchronization module. TCS houses test questions in both word and XML format. The Conversion module of TCS was used to convert all the word based items into XML. Once the items are converted to XML, each item went through a robust QC process that included comparing the content and metadata of the items. SQL server was used to stage items from word and compare them to XML. Reports were generated on a daily basis to keep track of the progress of XML Conversion process.

Responsibilities:

Extensively used Lotus Notes database and Item comparison tool ( IC Tool) to compare text and validate items. Made appropriate changes to that the converted XML so that it matches the legacy document.

Worked extensively with in-house item authoring tool, Xiat to author the items when the conversion programs fails to tag the XML appropriately.

Reported Problem items to the devlopers so that the conversion program can be more effective.

Worked extensively with the BA team and Developers to review items across various programs.

Testing the entire content management system across various programs.
