I am submitting my resume for a position in your marketing department. My name is Juliette

(Julie) Strauss and I am currently a Senior in EY’s Strategy and Transactions services. Prior to starting at EY, I was an accountant for a corporate services firm and auditor for EY. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and accepted a position full-time at EY in July 2017. Between 2016 and 2017, I passed my CPA exams and am a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois. During my professional time in accounting I have worked with various employment levels and with teams. I have delivered high quality work to my senior managers, partners and clients. I am also extremely proficient in creating graphs, pivot tables, and charts in Microsoft Excel to help illustrate findings for upper management and clients. I am also experienced with Alteryx to assist in modeling multiple excel files to fit client preferences for desired use. Further, I have built on my foundational accounting knowledge for three years. As I reflect on my time in accounting, I realized something was missing. I was missing a drive and passion for what I was doing. After years of contemplating, I finally got my dream puppy, Coconut, a mini bernedoodle. Out of pure adoration for Coconut, I created the brand Miss Coconut the Dood on Instagram and have grown the account to over 6,200 followers with an engagement rate of 11.04%, a higher than average rating for the size of the account, in under 10 months. I have collaborated with over 7 brands to promote their products and create revenue. In the short life of Miss Coconut the Dood, we have generated over 25 sales across 7 brands and have conducted a giveaway with 7 brands. Additionally, I have created the Chicago Dog Features which has gained over 2,300 followers since February 2019. After diving headfirst into the social media world, I began to find joy in what I was doing on the side. I have taken this passion and began putting it into my professional life. I have received certifications in Google Analytics for Beginners, Advanced Google Analytics, and passed the Google Analytics Individual Qualification.

I know that this is only the beginning of what I can accomplish in marketing. My combination of desire for rigorous work, training, commitment to teamwork and serving clients will make me an excellent employee.
