PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

COLORADO CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY, Lakewood, CO 2016 to Present

Assistant Baseball Coach:

Assisted head coach in planning, organizing and execution of preseason and in season practices and contests. Evaluates the athletes’ performance and progress to ensure peak performance during the school year. Oversees the mental and physical preparation of athletes for contests; assists in the development of condition programs. Prepare scouting reports of opponents and analyze data for recommend game strategy. Assists with recruiting quality student athletes. Performs various tasks including travel, scheduling, budgeting to assist the operation of the program. Works primally with catchers’ positional group and implementing offensive baserunning plan as well as mental performance plan. Participated in ministry outreach and community service projects both locally and nationally.

Results: 100% graduation rate among players.

Created a winning environment recruiting top players from across the country resulting in winning the NCCAA regional tournament and finished fourth in the NCCAA World Series in 2017.

BATTERS BOX BASEBALL ACADEMY, Littleton, CO 2012 to Present

General Manager and Coach:

Develop and maintain network for players, coaches and contacts throughout the industry. Oversee operations for summer college team and six high school travel teams. Budgetary responsibilities for travel arrangements, funds for travel, uniforms, equipment and assignment of officials when appropriate for multiple teams. Oversee the mental and physical preparations of athletes in order to compete at their highest ability. Promote high school players to achieve the next level in their baseball career. Spear headed community fund-raising and community service projects.

Results: Nationally recognized program where player development is the priority shaping young men for life through baseball. Won various tournaments, exposing players to advance to the colligate level. Provided leadership and guidance necessary for a positive competitive environment for a diverse group of athletes. Developed corporate sponsorships to offset costs for equipment, travel and participation in the program.

COLUMBINE HIGH SCHOOL, Littleton, CO 2002 to 2016

Baseball Coach: Evaluated the best talent in each class, selected the team players, and developed their skills, setting the stage for them to move levels. Taught specific drills for different positions based on player’s ability. Used video analysis with each player to review mechanics improvement and player development. Monitor student-athlete academic progress.

Results: Attained a .750 winning percentage. Won two titles. Advanced 90% of students to the next level, including varsity and college. Multiple year All State Academic awards recognition in baseball.

KENT H. LANDSBERG, Denver, CO 2000 to 2012

Sales Representative: Responsible for sales volume generating $1M yearly in revenue, providing packaging supplies and services to 80 manufacturing customers. Assist in training new account reps and sales reps and serve as mentor to all sales personnel. Hold product seminars to ensure product knowledge within the sales group.

Results: Training and working with new reps lead to a positive sense of support, leading to company and personal growth of more than 3M.

MAJESTIC PACKAGING, Denver, CO 1997 to 2001

Vice President: Oversaw the growth of the company to $1.5M in sales. Managed the purchasing and development of new vendor relationships. Worked as logistics coordinator, involved with JIT and KANBAN inventory programs for large customers. Trained incoming employees in all facets of the company’s operations.
