Admissions Office Assistant and Student Ambassador (09/2016 03/2019)
Responsibilities include receiving and processing applications of incoming prospective candidates, creating schedules,
answering phone calls, among many other office tasks.
Giving tours to incoming applicants of the College, answering questions regarding student life, curriculum and housing.
Acting as a contact for accepted students, to answer questions about their upcoming year.
NECO Tutor of Clinical Skills (09/2017 01/2019)
Tutored first & second year Optometry students in preparation for their Clinical Skills Exams, taken at New England
College of Optometry. Skills taught were: refraction, contact lens insertion & removal, binocular indirect ophthalmic
microscope, slit lamp skills including tonometry & high magnification lens, entrance tests and direct ophthalmoscope.

Assistant Varsity Sports Manager at McGill Athletics (07/2015 02/2016)
Responsible for all the administration and operations of the Varsity Sports home events at McGill University.
Acts as a liaison with the McGill Facilities, Marketing and Campus Recreation Managers for the booking, confirmation
of venue scheduling, event delivery and external partners in conjugation with the Sport Medicine Clinic, responsible for
overseeing the hosting requirements related to medical coverage and emergency protocols.
Chairperson and administrator for weekly Sport Planning Events Committee (SPEC) meetings.
Responsible for recruitment process of Varsity technical staff including interviewing, training and supervision of staff.

Responsible for coordinating all Facility rentals at McGill University Gym, including scheduling, giving tours, making
invoices, taking payments and data entry. Other tasks: customer service, client services, answering telephone, making and
updating schedules for the website, among many other office tasks.
Acted as a liaison between the Facilities Manager and Campus Recreation Managers, for the booking and confirmation of

Private and Varsity Sports Event Staff Leader, Facilities Supervisor (04/2012 07/2015)
Managed McGill event staff throughout the set-up, take down, and during all McGill Varsity home games. Assisted with
coordination of events.
Primary coordinator and contact student for all private rentals within the McGill Athletic Facility and Molson Stadium;
entailed helping clients organize the rental in advance, trouble shooting and supervising the event.
Responsible for all rental groups, events, equipment, customer service and time management.

Daily laboratory responsibilities: running experiments, recruit/schedule patients and/or donors, analyzing samples and
conduct literature reviews.
Responsible for move of the laboratory from the Royal Victoria Hospital to the new research site this included packing
the entire lab, inventory, ordering new equipment/stock, then un-packing in new location. Maintained organization
throughout the move.
Research Assistant (05/2009 08/2009)
Laboratory assistant for Dr. Teruko Taketo at McGill University. Conducted experiments in the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Research field in sex determination of mice. Duties included performing all experimental procedures for the project such
as PCR, along with aiding Professor Taketo with research, cleaning the lab and filing.
Research was published and final manuscript was approved in April 2011.

Pharmacy Assistant/ Technician (05/2005 05/2011)
Responsible for entering prescriptions in computer, filling prescriptions, receiving prescription refills and transfers from
other pharmacies by phone or in person. Handled and was responsible for narcotic drugs, training new employees,
solving insurance issues by telephone.
Skills gained were multitasking, problem solving, patience building, time management, responsibility, customer service
and social skills.
Supervised transfer of ownership, management and data, after pharmacy was purchased by a large franchise.

Teachers Assistant (09/2009 04/2011)
Teachers Assistant in the Laboratory for Plant Biology.
Responsibilities included setting up equipment before each session, running weekly lab sessions, and clean up.
Answered student questions during lab period and demonstrated techniques prior to each lab.
Corrected all laboratory reports each week and reported back to Laboratory Coordinator.
Basketball Day Camp Counsellor, Saint Marys University (03/2010 09/2010)
Two sessions of day camps both run over a months time; co-ed ages from 6-16 and girls camp ages 5-15.
Responsibilities include teaching basketball skills for all levels of players, from beginner to advanced, organizing daily
activities and games.
Skills gained were patience with young children, leadership, and maintaining energy all day.
Interpersonal skills and patience were improved while engaging children with autism and ADHD.
