SUMMARY

I am a senior student-athlete pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Alcorn State University.Experience working on multiple projects such as developing a Chatbot program for the Computer Science Department and a Compiler program. While also working as an intern, I created a Web Application, which allowed the user to utilize company’s services. Seeking to use proven skills to meet company's needs while simultaneously expending on current knowledge.

Web Developer Intern June 2019- August 2019

Designed, built, and maintained company's Web Application using Django web framework with JavaScript and Python languages as well as HTML/CSS and SQL.

The purpose of the app was allowing the user to get to know the company with options to rent a tennis court or to schedule a private lesson with a coach and also see other available services that the company offers.

PROJECTS

Chatbot

Worked on a project to build a Chatbot for the Computer Science department website using Python programming language.

The Chatbot is built to help the incoming students find relevant information about the school and the department such as scholarships, internship opportunities, and requirements to get admitted.

Compiler

Developed a compiler program with C++ programming language which allows the user to enter the file name of a source code following a specific list of grammar, then to detect errors and give error messages, and run the user's program if there is no grammar error.

Database Web Application

This app was designed to give options to the user to use multiple services that the company offers.

I created it using Python language for the back-end side of the app and JavaScript, HTML/CSS for the front end. The app was built in Django Framework which allowed me to connect it to a SQL Database, where I was able to store information about the user.
