Dealing with baggage service inquiries; where is my bag? My bag appears to be damaged, etc. When bags did not arrive with passenger, then I had to trace where the bag had gone; if it is with another airline, then the process was then started to get the bag back to passenger. If the bag was coming in on a later flight, then it has to be determined why the bag did not travel with the passenger.
