Fulfill a mandate to effectively implement Fibre Cabling/GPON/FTTX network build projects.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end accountability of Fibre cabling and in-building wiring for business premises

Lead copper/DSL/Internet migration activities ensuring that all customers move to Fibre to the premise/Suites

Collaborate with external partners, planning, engineering, procurement, build, and operations primes to prioritize and schedule project deliverables

Collaborate with build implementation team and project management team to identify and balance internal resource allocation

Interact with vendors, product, sales, marketing and business enablement teams to ensure timely delivery of new products to market

Contribute to stakeholder Capex & Opex budget planning, lead business case developments & governance requirements

Report regularly on project status, identify risks and recommend improvements to drive operational excellence

Fulfill a mandate to effectively implement Fibre Cable/DWDM/SDH/SONET/MPLS-TP/FTTX network build projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement all projects undertaken by Design & Planning Section. Manage multiple network deployment and up-grade projects. Track daily progress and associated costs and monitor capital project budgets and schedules.

Providing engineering/design/analysis services in the telecom technologies/services currently in use

Participate in technical decisions, ensuring quality and conformance with client requirements. Review project contract milestones in the light of approved scope of work. Liaise with different disciplines/departments to prepare cost estimates, resource plans, and project control documents.

Gather requirements; prepare project proposals, man-hour estimates. Contribute to development of the project (Outside/Inside Plant) design, project execution plan, financial management plan and project schedules.

Maintain communication with vendors, Municipalities and other stakeholders on a regular basis and track delivery schedule.

Ensured that project is aligned with applicable codes, standards and specifications.

Initiate Change Management Requests on the basis of Teams’ Feedback and need.

To create and monitor project related requirements to meet build dates in accordance with established procedures, standards and practices

Provide input to engineering plans; ensure that project implementation meets specifications and budget requirements.

Prepare/administer capital program and capital forecast. Identify and manage all milestones and inter-dependencies to deliver business objectives. Identify and rectify project conflicts and recommend workable solutions.

Preparation of Build/Construction Telecommunication projects’ Estimates, Bid/Tender Documents, Procurement documents and Execution of construction work as per standard Drawings and Specifications exercising strict Quality Control

Work with internal team to sort out issues and bottlenecks across various cross regional teams, especially related to the timelines of specific projects as assigned.

Processing of Co-location requests from different vendors and Service Providers in accordance with the feasibility report

Perform regular follow-ups and tracking of all co-location documentation and keep an ever ready updates

Coordination with concerned Municipalities and Preparation of ROW/lease/licensing documentation in a timely manner

Track and report the Project budget status along with accruals to the Supervisor

Delivered and implemented geographic information system (GIS) strategy and roadmap to transfer the whole Network database to GIS.
