Objective:

I am a retired college professor seeking day time Monday through Friday full time employment in order to supplement retirement income. I’m articulate and very well spoken with excellent “people skills” and computer skills. I am in excellent physical condition with no disabilities. I was raised in a Sicilian family with a strong tradition of honesty, honor, loyalty and hard work. While a member of the Orange Co. Sheriffs Dept. I was a Sgt. Supervising a 7 man uniform patrol squad and as a SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) Sgt. I supervised a 5 man SWAT team, and as such I do have supervisory experience.

Education:

1.Rollins College Winter Park, Florida Bachelor of Arts with a double Major in Political Science and Psychology. 1965 to1969.

2.Rollins College Winter Park, Florida Bachelor of General Studies in Criminal Justice. 1971 to 1973.

3.Rollins College Winter Park, Florida Master of Science in Criminal Justice 1974 to1976.

4.Manatee Community College Venice Campus (Now the College of Florida) A.S. degree in Computer Information Systems Analysis graduated Phi Theta Kappa 1997 to1999.

5.South West Florida College Fort Myers. Completed the one year program in Computer Networking obtaining an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer). Certification is now expired.

6.Axia College on line A.S. in computer networking.

Work History:

1.Insurance Adjuster Liberty Mutual Insurance Tampa, Florida. 1969 to 1971 Duties: (Working out of the Tampa office I was assigned the territory from Bradenton to Naples individually handling all claimants and conducting all investigations, and negotiating all settlements).

2.Orange County Sheriffs Dept. Orange County Florida. 1971 to 1978. Duties: (Assigned as Narcotics Detective, Homicide Investigator, Intelligence Agent Uniform Patrol Sgt. and SWAT Sgt. In 1976 I was awarded Officer of the Year for the State of Florida.

3.College Professor Brevard Community College Melbourne, Florida 1978 to 1986. Duties: (Prepare and administer all lectures, tests and classes)

4.Wireless Engineer with Wave Wireless Networking and with Just Installs Wireless Company. 1999 to 2010. Duties: (Working on Towers sometimes 300 to 400 feet in the air installing wireless networks all over the world, conducting wireless site surveys, planning customer networks).

5.L.A. Fitness currently employed part time at front desk operations. Duties: (Checking in customers, changing Credit card information, answering phones, assisting sales and training staff. We have over a 1,000 check ins a day)

Interests:

Physical fitness, weight training and practicing the Martial Arts, dedicated Thespian and Argentine Tango.
