To have a document control professional experience in a senior position preferably in Oil & Gas and Construction Projects.

20 years of GCC experience in the document control field in the positions listed below:
1)Presently associated as document control Coordinator in central archive with Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Kuwait (KNPC) (Secondment) in Clean Fuel Project (CFP) since July 2014.

Responsibilities & Capabilities
Ensuring effective implementation of document control procedure.
Responsible for recording and transmitting all incoming and outgoing correspondence, drawings, documents, specifications and generating document transmittals, material submittals and request for inspection (RFIs).
Responsible to categorize, shorten and file the hard copy (original) of the documents in such a way to avoid the duplication of the hard copies stored.
Preparing regular document status reports in timely and accurate manner.
Interface with all disciplines and functions requiring document control support.
Responsible for downloading the transmittals from PMC (Amec Foster Wheeler) document management system (Doc. Store) and save it to the respective folders on the CFP Share drive.
Receive all the correspondence documents through dedicated channel (i.e., Letters, Memos, Faxes, e-mails and Transmittals) and archive the same in to the CFP Share drive to the respective folders.
Identifying superseded documents (procedures) to remove from point of use and marked them as obsolete.
Ensure controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are distributed to the appropriate staff.
Update the status of master list of documents and records on regular basis.
Provide number for new documents based on prevailing document-numbering procedure.
Preparation of work flow charts for document control process in Visio.
