2016 July – to date EPI (UK)

Working as Independent Geophysical consultant for MOL Group (Hungary) production and exploration blocks in Pakistan (namely TAL & Margalla).

2013 to June 2016 Qatar Petroleum – Snr. Geophysicist (International Upstream) – Africa, Asia & Europe

CONGO PROJECT

- Managed, monitored and evaluated all G&G activities of Congo Assets for 9 producing and 3 exploration blocks where QP has 15% equity with TOTAL.

• Presented Qatar Petroleum technical view internally and at JV level based on in-house structural interpretation of seismic data (Generated variety of maps at regional and prospect level for both pre and post salt targets).

• Evaluated operator’s work critically to highlight the areas of improvement and considerations.

• Recommended and highlighted many new prospects for pre and post salt targets. Post salt targets resulted in many reasonable size discoveries while pre-salt campaign is planned for year 2017 onwards.

• Carried out risking, ranking and volumetric analysis of mapped prospects and challenging the operator with his results.

• Provided G&G input to Reservoir team for generating the reservoir model for all exploration targets.

• Actively monitored the dynamic model with respect to the challenges during development phase in close association with Reservoir team.

• Managed the huge amount of G&G data in organized and structured manner in the workstation.

MAURITANIAN PROJECT

- Managed, evaluated and carried out all exploration activities in interior Taoudeni basin of Mauritania for frontier exploration in Block Ta7 and Ta8 where QP has 20% interest with JV partners TOTAL and SONATRACH.

- Recommended high level management through detailed technical evaluation and results to exit both exploration blocks. The decision was supported by the JV partners.

EVALUATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS (VDR’s)

• Carried out detailed Technical DD (G&G) for evaluating SONANGOL, Angola (pre-salt target) block 20 and 21 together with Shell Netherlands. Recommended not to participate in these two blocks which was equally supported by Shell.

• Carried out detailed Technical DD (G&G) for evaluating TOTAL Congo assets which eventually resulted in the asset acquisition.

• Carried out detailed technical DD (G&G) and recommended QP not to participate in interior Taoudeni basin of Mauritania in Block Ta29 which eventually was agreed by the peers and the management.

• Member of the Joint team which technically evaluated the producing assets of Shell Brazil, Centrica Canada (unconventional) and frontier exploration blocks of Chevron in Morocco. All these producing assets and exploration blocks are now part of QP portfolio.

• Evaluated and made recommendation to management on many opportunities including US, Brazil, Bolivia, North Sea, Algeria, Tunisia, India, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Brazil, Namibia, Azerbaijan, Canada, Venezuela, Australia, Angola, Argentina, Egypt, Gabon, Mexico, Tanzania, Mozambique etc

• Physical visits to data rooms for the above opportunities in USA, France, Congo, Netherlands, Mauritania and inside Qatar.

DATABASE PROGRAMMING

• Developed and implemented automated statistical database for Congo, Brazil and Canadian assets for the following;

- Daily, weekly and monthly production, operations, HSE and price profiles.

- Capturing drilling operations and monitoring asset at individual well level for key technical parameters including but not limited to GOR, BSW, Water injection, Gas injection, Mobo performance etc.

• Designed, developed and implemented database for New Opportunities to record and capture key decision factors important for evaluation.

2011-2012 Sonangol P&P, Angola, Luanda- Geophysical Consultant

- Identified, Evaluated and matured prospects of Block-4 (offshore Angola) and Block N23 & N33 (Deep offshore Cuba)for both post and pre-salt targets.

- Performed detailed risking, ranking and volumetric calculations on all the matured prospects with asset team.

- Represented company technical view during the JV meetings and made high level presentations to the management.

2009-2011 Great Sahara Petroleum Operating Company Ltd. Sudan - Geophysical Specialist

- Detailed evaluation of interior sedimentary basins namely Missaha, Kufra and Mourdi Basin prospectivity in relation to Block-12A.

- Identified, evaluated and matured prospects by generating maps at different reservoir levels of infra Cambrian.

- Joint Basin study, risking, ranking and volumetric was done with BeicipFranlab, France and visited their center couple of times during this studies.

- Planned, designed and supervised all seismic acquisition and processing projects in the block. Visited Spectrum processing center couple of times to advise, evaluate and finalize the processing parameters.

- Planned, designed and supervised Airborne Gravity and magnetic data acquisition and processing projects in the block. Good information was gathered for identifying the areas of focus and designing the seismic grid accordingly.

2007-2009 SudaPak Petroleum Operating Company Ltd.Sudan - Geophysical Specialist

- Detailed evaluation by doing prospect mapping on several intra-cratonicbasins of Block-9 (Khartoum, Atbara), Block-11 (Umm Agaga, Umm Ruwaba, Umm Assala) and Block A of Sudan at different reservoir levels of Cretaceous and Tertiary.

- Planned, designed and supervised all new seismic, gravity and magnetic acquisition and processing and reprocessing projects in the blocks.

- Advised on the selection of processing and reprocessing parameters with Fugro Robertson, UK due to criticality of data resolution.

2003-2007 Zaver Petroleum Corporation Ltd.Pakistan - Senior Geophysicist

- Detailed evaluation by doing prospect mapping on several intra-cratonic basins of Block-9, Block-11 and Block A of Sudan and various blocks of Pakistan like MirpurKhas/Khipro/ SakhiSarwar /Chanda and Ratana. Evaluated different international blocks in Nigeria, Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Egypt etc.
