The responsibilities included design and development of mappings, performance tuning, Problem solving, run automation and production support. Power Exchange, Informatica 8.1.1, Stored Procedures, UNIX were used on this project. The data warehouse was built using Oracle 10g.
The change data capture was accomplished using Oracle mvlogs .This data warehouse is used for Monitoring immigration and analyzing immigration patterns. Architected technical solutions and worked on performance tuning initiatives. Stored Procedures were also used.

Worked on a project to automate the ceding application XL’s reinsurance business. Excel cedes part of its insurance business to other insurers to minimize its exposure. This project entailed developing mappings, workflows, stored procedures to extract transform and store data in RDB Tables. Informatica 7.2 is being used in this project. Responsibilities included coding, testing, implementation of mappings, workflows and stored TSQL procedures on SQL Server 2005. Made recommendations for performance tuning and improved resource utilization.

Worked for IBM on a project for Cytec Corporation. Modifying interfaces to Siebel to bring them in line with recommended best practices. Also did performance tuning and debugging of existing mappings. Developed and implemented mappings to extract data for producing Release 2 Reports for Cytec Corporation. Developed DAC jobs and implemented Informatica ETL mappings. Responsibilities include coding, testing, Implementation of Mappings, Workflows and DAC on UNIX. Oracle was the DBMS used here.

SWIFT is a set of financial system tools and processes designed to position LMI&TS for continued growth and comprises of two robust integrated software systems:
1) PeopleSoft for Financials and Contracts, including Billing

SWIFT will supply input to systems and provide the training and technical support required to facilitate the transition from the legacy systems. Informatica 7.2 Power mart and UNIX were used in this project.
Legacy ROSS financial system was to be replaced with the PeopleSoft software package. PeopleSoft is an integrated financial system solution that is tailored to the needs of service-oriented businesses like LMI&TS. Worked on the following
• Developed Informatica mappings, re-usable transformations. Developed and wrote procedures for getting the data from the Source systems to the Staging and to Data Warehouse system.
• Used Power Center Workflow manager for polling, session management, database connection management and scheduling of jobs to be run in the batch process.
• Working on database connections, SQL joins, loops, aliases, views, aggregate conditions, parsing of objects and hierarchies.
• Writing data extracts to Excel files so that Business-users can analyze the data extracts in spreadsheets. These data extracts are also used for high-level Business users reporting purposes.
• Reviewed the business logic and documented the ETL development process.
• Involved in the error checking and testing of the ETL procedures and programs in Informatica.
• Created various Documents such as Source-To-Target Data mapping Document, Backroom Services Document.
