Duties: Supervise subcontractors on new, from the ground up, Medical and Commercial projects, Podium Style, Multi-Family residential, costing up to $8 million. Plan and schedule labor and materials. Monitor site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations. Prepare daily and monthly reports of progress. Supervise compliance with AIA contracts and technical standards and specifications of architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, as well as all crafts and trades. Projects included Ground-up, 50,000 square foot, Podium Style, multi-family condo with underground parking garage and elevator valued at $8 million, Ground-up 5,000 square foot dialysis clinic (Davita Clinic), a $3 million Podium Style Condo project and an Office building tenant build out. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Blueprints for the 5 story, Artesia Condos (Podium Style Project) showed a major structural design flaw which did not comply with the International Building Code. Using my knowledge of the codes and experience with wood framing structural members, was able to alert the architect and structural engineer to the problem prior to construction, saving thousands of dollars in rework and time delays.
