Skills:
•Performing routine inspection on Piping, weld attachments and repairs on all stages of fabrication.
•Providing and maintaining documentation on all welds, and weld mapping for piping systems including Procedure; size; thickness; process; material; NDE; welder, and compliance with Code standard.
•Communicating with the Project Manager to determine the specific requirements of a given workorder. Including the scope of work, deliverables, and schedule.
•Communicating with Engineering for Updates or changes with Material and fabrication designs for the latest revisions on all documentation
•Working with other Craft workers to assist in the understanding and execution of the correct Procedures for specific task. Fabrication, installation, testing, etc.
•Ensuring that the services provided are performed in accordance with the project requirements and contract with the client and inspection standards that apply.
•Reading and interpreting Blueprints, ISO's, P&ID's, to inspect work orders for correct material specification with specific Codes and Standards.
•Walking beforehand, and with Client or 3rd Party inspection to insure Correct Fabrication, Documentation, and installation of a System before Testing, Hydro, Pneumatic, Etc.
•Verifying parts availability and specifications. Reporting any discrepancies to supervisor or lead.
