Money Transfer Management is a core payment system in Custody and Clearing Services department which handles many payment instructions initiated by its institutional clients every day. The core functionality of the system is to receive payment instructions through various electronic payment channels, processes them against business rules defined and settles those instructions to beneficiaries/successor banks involved in the payment chain.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing and gathering requirements for new implementations and change requests.

Helping in project estimation.

Created a detailed technical specification document and mapping specification in coordination with cross technology team.

Developing WTX typetrees, maps and systems related to the mapping specification.

Developing testing strategies for efficient and error free testing (like preparing Unit Test plans, doing Unit Test reviews and preparing Requirement Traceability Matrix against test cases.

Anthem Enterprise Clearinghouse project deals with the processing of HIPAA transactions in accordance with EDI processing system. Clearing house acts as an intermediate to route the transactions between different healthcare entities like Payers and trading partners. It is a screening system where the edits and validations are applied to the transactions sent by the Submitter before being sent to adjudication process. The Clearing house converts the files from ANSI X12 to proprietary format based on the back-end system’s business needs and delivers it accordingly to the adjudication systems.

Played a key role in Anthem's Payment Innovation project which is the reformation of health care system through innovative approaches to payment such as placing emphasis on value over volume, and rewarding the quality and cost effectiveness of care. Anthem's suite of value-based payment programs enhances this transformation by establishing methodologies that link cost-effective and high-quality care to provider payment.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing the mapping requirements related to development of complete workflow.

Involving in requirement gathering discussion and identifying various dependencies.

Creating Technical Design Documents and got them signed off with the Client.

Creating the mapping Specification documents for HIPAA Claim Status Request and Response Transactions (837(Institutional/Professional/Dental), 834,820,835,270,271,276,277).
