CURRENT POSITION

Field Document Control Manager

Projects included:

INVSTA - ADN Retrofit Project - Update and Revamp ADN Unit to improve efficiency and safety by removing Benzene from the process of making feed stock for Nylon production – Victoria, TX - TIC

Responsibilities included:

–Setting up the initial Prolog EMDS Configuration for the Project which included:

oDiscpline Codes

oDocument Type Coodes

oForms to be used

oReports to be used

oWorkflows for the various packages being reviewd and approved

oLoading common forms

–Functional Owner of Prolog for all Construction activities and system generated reports

–Developed the Field Document Control Execution Plan, Audit Plan, Request Forms, RFI Procedure, IWP Implentation Procedure and Distribution Matrix, as well as other automated processes being utilized on the Project

–Facilitated numerous RFI training webinar’s with the internal team (Engineering and Construction) and the Client

–Interface with Engineering Document Control and utilize JPI (EDMS) to populate Prolog (Field EDMS) to build, quality check, extract, PDF, print, and issue Installation Work Packages or Test Packages (IWP / PTPs)

–Trained field employees on the use of Prolog and the Field Document Control processes as well as JPI

–Vital part of the Advanced Work Packaging process – from development of the work flows, to quality control of documentation put into the packages to building the hardcopies and electronic files

–Worked closely with Planners to get packages prepared, QC’d, printed and IFC’d

–Manage and control all Engineering IFC’d documents and drawings that have been revised and ensure they were issued to the field and updated in the IWPs & PTPs as applicable

–Ensure Field EDMS was always up to date with current documentation and drawings, as the field used iPads to access our EMDS to have access to most current infomation

–Responsible for processing all Field generated RED-LINES from loading them into Prolog to distributing them to the field and issuing a weekly RED-LINED Log

–Responsible to ensure the most current weld mapps or revised weld mapped ISOs were avalable in Prolog as well as given to the field

–Conducted numerous EDM system (JPI to Prolog) audits to ensure the field had all the IFCd or needed drawings to execute their scope of work as defined in the Contract

–Quality checked and prepared the Paint, Insulation & Tracing Test Packages to be IFCd to the Field

–Prepared bulk imports of IWPs/PTPs & documents and ran the imports to load into Prolog

–Process all Prolog Access Requests for both Worley and INVISTA

–Processed field document requests

–Prepared reports out of Prolog and JPI as requested

–Prepared and submitted PARs for new Field personnel so they would be granted the proper access needed to perform their job duites

–Set up Staff employees on printers and assisted with some IT issues and questions

–Logged all packages returned from Quality as COMPLETED in the EDMS when they were signed off. Broke down the packages returned, keeping the wet signed off sheets/forms and any added Quality information. Scanned that information and loaded it back into the EMDS to relect a complete package.

–Loaded field produced documents, procedures, etc into JPI, which is the EDMS of record for the Project.

–Researched as requested documentation for both Engienring and Vendor to provide to Client or include in packages

Field Document Control Supervisor

Projects Included:

Lubrizol - New HRPIB (Highly Reactive Poly-Isobutylene) Production Unit, with support facilities including: catalyst handling, utilities, cooling towers, thermal oxidizer, finished product storage and shipping, air compressors and support utilities – Deer Park, TX Lump Sum $300,000,000 TIC

Responsibilities included:

–Functional Owner of Prolog for all Construction activities and system generated reports

–Managing the EPC Query process for over 750+ queries.

–Participated in the technical reviews of the Proposals and Evaluations and was responsible for getting all the approved Contract documents finalized and loaded into the company's SharePoint site, as well as provided copies to the awarded Bidders.

–Wrote and developed all the Document Management procedures, work flow maps and training material.

–Was the Point of Contact for the awared EPC Contractors when it came to any Document/Information or EDMS questions, needs or clarificaitons.
