PROJECTS

IOT BASED HOME AUTOMATION AND SMART SECURITY SYSTEM USING RASPBERRY PI

In this project, we have developed a prototype of home automation and smart security system. We have used sensors like IR sensor(to detect an obstacle), PIR sensor(to detect the movement),servo motor(to open and close the door),pi camera, LED array and buzzer interfaced to raspberry pi. Whenever a person comes, PIR sensor captures the movement,buzzer gets activated, the camera captures the image and sends the image to house owner.

SMART AGRICULTURE AND IRRIGATION SYSTEM FOR FRUIT MATURITY STAGES USING RASPBERRY PI

This project was done to detect whether the fruit is ripened or not. With the help of Opencv we will determine the stages of the fruit(apple as a sample image) by calculating the R/G ratio with the help of pixels taken from the sample image.If (R/G)<1-first stage,(R/G)=1-second stage,(R/G)>1-third stage,(R/G)>>1-final stage or fully ripened stage.we are using sensors like DHT(for temperature finding),moisture sensor(for wet or dry soil) interface to raspberry pi.
