At Dule Farms, we provide good quality eggs and meat to our customers all round the year. The farm is solely owned by MR. VIULA BOLDEESIBARI, MOSES, a graduate of Computer Science from the Rivers State University. I am a corp member with the state code BY/19B/0459, currently serving at Yenagoa in Bayelsa State.

Our Opportunity

Market Need: Statistics shows that an egg contains all the essential nutrients required by the human body, in the best proportions. This is why it has been recommended that an average person should take at least an egg per day.

Also, from research, white meat (chicken meat) is preferred over red meat (goat meat, cow meat, etc), due to the negetive long time effects of red meat whereas the white meat is free from such. This clearly shows that the market is green for the business as the demand for poultry products will continue to increase.

DULE FARMS is ready to provide poultry products regularly and affordably to her customers all round the year.

Target Market: Our target includes Restaurants/Catering houses, Retailers, Wholesalers and the general public.

Our Competitors: From research made, 87% of our competitors are outside of Yenagoa where our location is. This means that 80% of eggs sold in Yenagoa are brought from outside of Yenagoa. This is a weakness that we shall take advantage of as we will be located right in the heat of Yenagoa, Bayelsa.

Sales and Marketing: We sell our products directly to our customers through our shops that are located in strategic places including markets. Our sales activities/strategies include adverts through fliers, running of promos, giving out gift items to customers who meet up targerts, regular customer appraisals etc.

Expertise: I have been well trained in poultry farming by Mr Isaac (the CEO of Grace Flow Farms) under the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (WAED) program both during and after camp.

I also have a set of resource persons which includes my trainer and some vertrinary doctors who have pledged their readiness to work with me any time they are called upon.

Funding Needs: The business proposal is aimed at securing funding of one million naira N1,000,000 to boost and take it to our vision of being the largest single producer of poultry products in Yenagoa, Bayelsa.
