Position: Principal Telecom /Instrument&Control Commissioning & Construction Engineer – ADNOC -WEST Island-ZADCO Project UZ750.

Key Accountabilities:

Supervise all activity with contractor for Installation and commissioning it with Client.

Review drawing contact with Vendor, review procedure, Loop checking Pre-Commissioning, commissioning and test start up.

Check all construction activity and follow up the jobs till ITRs & MC closed.

Check all Telecom equipment, LAN. Fiber Optic, Patch Panel, Distribution switches

Follow Telecom technician team and scheduling task for all project.

Meeting for Reporting progress with client and Management further change order with subcontractor and/or Vendor.

Familiar with the latest Federal Communication Commission rules and regulations related to telecommunications.

Follow-up of engineering development activities progress related to Telecom systems for the various MP division projects by contractors, the LLI and packages vendors (as applicable). The scope of activities will concern both green field (new development) as well as Brownfield activities (on existing platforms). The activities include the review and comment of engineering and vendor (if applicable) documentation to ensure compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications, Corporate standard and HSEQ regulation, international codes, BV and SOLAS applicable rules,

Develop FEED scope in line with Pre-Project and Statement of Requirements; ensure consistency in various FEED documentations and deliverables and ITT documents.

Assist Corporate Planning & Development team members in addressing the Telecom concerns and queries, when required,

Assist in vendor selection for telecom items for the various projects,

Ensure a close follow-up of interfaces between packages and projects on projects on all related telecom issues.

To define, follow up and evaluate the Telecom discipline studies to be carried out by Contractors,

To monitor Telecom discipline studies during all engineering phases (technical, costs, planning, interfaces, reporting).

Identification of any optimization / improvement in the design dossier to be implemented in the early stage of concept design,

To promote alternatives for Telecom design in Brownfield environment to reduce and to optimize the offshore installations weight & duration,

To supervise and promote cost-saving solutions in the design of the offshore installations,

Ensure that design is standardized across the various wellhead platforms and is cost effective, in line with management strategy,
