Projects SURFACE COATING FOR SOLAR APPLICATION (Duration 3 Months) The study of surface heat transfer property degradation is mandatory as the solar water heater receiver tubes operating temperature increases. In the first part of the study, an investigation will be carried out on the radiation heat transfer property degradation of aluminium and copper material the emissivity and absorptivity of aluminium surface and the copper surface will be measured before and after exposing to sunlight in 4 intervals between 240-960 hours. The emissivity and absorptivity of aluminium and copper surface is measured after coated with CuO material coating for three different thickness will be measured before and after exposing to sunlight in 4 intervals between 240-960 hours.
