As a Well Testing Operator my duties mobilization of SWT, Equipment maintenance and preparing records, Flow calculations, Rig up and rig down of SWT equipment, Connecting flow line pipes and hammering.

SURFACE WELL TESTING

Conduct site and road survey for mobilization of Surface Well Testing (SWT) equipments to another location.

Loading and unloading of SWT equipments on trailers at site.

Rig up and Rig down of SWT equipments.

Keeping the equipments in proper location by considering hazardous zones.

Hammering of HU pipes to connect flow line in upstream and downstream.

Connecting flow line from X-mas tree to waste pit.

Connecting flow line from X-mas tree to surge tank, separator, storage tanks through data headers, test choke manifolds, sand trap, 3 way and 5 way diverter manifolds and tube to flare pit by using L bends, T bends, cross over and pipes of 1502, 602, 206 of different lengths.

Cable laying and termination of sensors and electrical equipments from diesel generator to light poles, containers, motors, compressors etc.

Installation, operation and maintenance of pressure sensors, temperature sensors, differential pressure sensors, water flow rate, oil flow rate, sand detector and explosive level sensor.

Flow calculation going to waste pit, surge tank, separator and flare pit.

Usage of baurton chart recorder, operation of pressure switch, ESDV, ESDV panel using pneumatic control operation by maintaining air pressure delivered by air compressor and knowledge of CTU operations.

Connecting analog meters and sampling point to thermol to obtain pressure sample in flow-line at upstream and downstream data header.

Undergo maintenance activity by greasing SSV, choke manifold, flange and wing end 1502, 602, 206 pipes, L bends T bends, cross over, 3 way and 5 way diverter manifolds.

Obtaining salinity, PH, BS&W and flow rate of water.

To chair pre-job/tool box meetings held prior at any Well Test operation commencing location.

Oil Field Instrumentation (India) Private Ltd in India is Mud Logging units / Mud Logging services provider. It has developed several high end software and instrumentations solutions for both the upstream and downstream sectors.

As a Trainee MudLogger ensures the correct evaluation of Geological data by providing the basic item for evaluation – Accurately caught Geological samples. The primary objective of this position is to assist in the efficient completion of oil and gas wells by providing correctly lagged and reliably labeled samples.

MUDLOGGING

Lithological description of flush cuttings and cores.

Preparation of Master/Gas/Pressure Logs.

Monitoring of different drilling, mud and geopressured parameters.

Sensors Calibration and other electronic gadgets of mud logging unit.

To prepare different kinds of reports and charts.

Collection of drilled samples at specified lagged intervals. Washing, sieving and drying followed by packaging and labeling.

Determination of calcimetry.

Handling of core samples which include recovery, orientation sampling ( packaging & sampling ). Preparation required core logs and reports.

Monitoring Mud ( SPM, SPP, Lag time, Lag strokes ) during kick circulations and necessary operations. Identify probable because of kick.

Monitoring Mud ( Mud vol, Mud wt, Mud Temp, etc), Gas and drilling parameters ( ROP, WOP, RPM, SPM, SPP, Hook load and torque etc.)

Gas Detection: Continuous separation of Hydrocarbon gases C1, C2, C3, iC4, nC4, C5. Prepare Gas Ratio Plot to obtain formation producibility.

Preparing well logs and final well reports, which include Master Log, Composite Log, Drilling parameters, Bit details, Gas analysis data, Casing & Cementation. Drilling Equipment and Techniques – Gas Detection – Sensor Calibration
