The patient population included sepsis patients; neurological/traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries; fresh post-operative cardiac surgical patients; respiratory distress patient, including assistance in chest tube insertion and intubations;

gastrointestinal surgeries. The nursing duties also included fluid resuscitation, titration of vasopressor drips, and providing assistance to patients in performing activities of daily living.
