11/01/2019- present – Access Medical Group – inpatient hospitalist admission NP. Rounds on all inpatients except ICU and completes H&P/ admission orders per hospital guidelines. Rounds with attending physicians on stepdown / intermediate floor and responds to rapid responses. Does daily rounds with mental health patients to provide medical clearance while inpatient.
02/01/2018 - Present – Department of Veteran Affairs Urgent nurse, Veterans Administration Urgent Care is 12-bed urgent care with a fast track section for non – urgent patients. Patients are seen for critical and non – critical conditions stabilized and sent out to higher levels of care. Patient education is also implemented regarding new conditions.
12/27/16 - 02/01/2018 – Emergency room nurse, Mount Carmel Saint Ann's in Ohio, is a 99-bed emergency department that serves on average 70,000 patients annually. The Staff nurse works with health care professionals to provide care to patients with acute and chronic illness. Care is delivered using an evidence-based practice approach while meeting both state and national guidelines. The staff nurse may also perform lifesaving interventions to stabilize a patient who presents with a life threating emergency.
