Provided system enhancements and maintenance on DE Alpha. This system has many different segments written in the following languages: Java, C, Ada, SQL, Embedded SQL, and DCL. This system also resides on the following platforms and operating systems: Solaris, Unix, DEC Alpha, OpenVMS, Windows NT. Duties included performing analysis into enhancements and data warehousing problems, making the code changes, working with the customer to see if the code changes met their request, and testing code changes.

Aided in development of add-on software packages to the existing DE Alpha system. Development, using JDK 1.1.8, included the coding of Java Applets to aid in the data warehousing and information requests from other systems. The development was done off of specs given by the customer.

Developed training materials and trained end-users in SAP R/3. These duties included working one-on-one with the customer to give input to the customization of SAP R/3. While the system was being customized, the training materials were written. Within six months, training of over 500 end-users had started.
